Boosting Test Coverage with an Software Quality Assurance AI Agent
Quality assurance processes often face delays and inefficiencies due to the manual creation of test scenarios, which can overlook critical edge cases and lead to bugs in production. QA teams also struggle to achieve comprehensive coverage when interpreting complex user requirements, resulting in increased maintenance costs and release risks.
To address these challenges, an Agentic AI-powered QA system was implemented to automatically generate detailed test scenarios and steps based on user requirements. By leveraging intelligent agents that understand functional flows, the system produces high-quality test cases—including hard-to-identify edge cases—without manual intervention.
This automation-first approach accelerated test case creation, reduced the risk of missed scenarios, and allowed QA professionals to shift their focus from writing to validating. The result was improved test coverage, reduced defects in production, and more efficient quality assurance cycles across the development pipeline.
